So the supplier no longer sells the rear shocks with the correct diameter hole for the mountings. The mounting rod on the car is 10mm but the inner diameter of the shock is 12mm. Some people are fitting 12-10mm sleeves cut from tubing. Will this be an issue, what are your thoughts? Is it something that is often done, what material would you use, steel/aluminum etc

The car is a fiat panda 100hp.

I have done this before using 1mm wall thickness st/steel tubing with no issues.

Did it myself with a change from imperial to metric shocks
