The connector for the water temp sensor is perishing and letting in water. What is the connector type for replacement?

Its a 2 way JPT (junior power timer) connector, fairly standard automotive plug from memory

Those look the same as the connectors to the Bosch injectors on the 4.2 V8 (*never knew what they were called before!)

In which case... anyone know where to just buy the retaining clips for them?

I took all mine off as part of the rebuild of my fuel rail / starter motor and managed to mislay them in the process rolleyes

I can buy 10 replacements whole units, but it seems a waste when all I need is the clips!

Many thanks

Awesome if you do wink

Otherwise it's the ones I built out of paperclips that may just have to do!!!

Had a good look round and Ive found 4 clips, the rest are part of new connectors! Don't think this helps does it.

Cheers,

Jody

Thanks Jody and if those 4 are going spare I'd rather have 4 super strong ones in place if possible - I'll drop you a PM

Well I pushed the boat out and bought the Rymans thicker 50mm paperclips and if I get stuck that actually make really quite strong clips!
