I've put in probably about 20 hours or so on the xbox 360 version of the game. And one day when I have the chance I was quite looking forward to finishing it.

Is the Xbox One version going to be worth the upgrade? Is it worth doing over those 20 hours and getting my items again? I think with all the other games perhaps nto, but it would be interesting to hear other people's opinions. I know that there will be fans of the game who go out and buy it instantly. I am a fan of the game, but when I have an unfinished copy on the 360, is it worth paying again for the day.ething with better graphics?

I think so, I put over 600 hours into Skyrim over various characters.

I was a bit annoyed when the remaster was announced as a full priced game but I'm sure that I'll end up getting it and putting another few hundred hours into it.

Ah, missed your real question. Are you liable to go back and play it on 360? Also, the current gen one will have mod support which opens up a whole new kettle of fish.

Yeah unfortunately I don't have the space for a decent PC. Would love one one day but there is a lot of tinkering which is time consuming.

I'll probably get it, I just bought doom and I'm loving that. Also have fallout 4 to play through which I should do before getting it. I also need to finish fallout 3 as well :getscoat:

A modded PC Skyrim remastered will (should) be better as it (should) handle memory better and not cause random crashes due to running out of the very limited memory. Fallout 4 with all the bells and whistles that Skyrim remastered will get can still be made to look better with reshade or ENB presets.

Skyrim remastered will be able to use more HD textures, more added content and still have better visuals without crashing. (Bethesda disclaimer: This game may still crash to desktop randomly without warning)

If you enjoy the game then yes it will be worth it IMHO - it can easily be 50-100 hours of gameplay which is fine VFM.

Yeah thats a good point. I just don't have the time these days. Working nights really takes it out of me.

Yes, the major problem with this type of game IMHO is the need to have at least 3 hours clear to play, as half an hour or so simply isn't going to get you anywhere! Makes it more challenging as we get older and have responsibilities etc.

Indeed! I've had an Xbox One since Christmas, and haven't even scratched the top of Fallout 4. I find whenever I do have time I will go on Battlefield 4 as I'm right there in the action. You do need a few hours to get anywhere with these types of games.
