Right,

This is driving me nuts - I want to have my 4x precat Griff split rim alloys refurbed and I'm having a nightmare finding places that do it.

car is in for a full respray and the paint shop planned to use Lepson's while the respray is happening only to find that they won't take the wheels apart because they're bolted or something so they use someone else for that and he's away for weeks!!

Can anyone suggest somewhere that will do a set of split rim OZ alloys with diamond cut and polish and clearcoat for a halfway sensible price??

I can't understand what's so bloody difficult about this fifty years after we managed to put a man on the moon - it's a bloody wheel with a bunch of bolts for crying out loud, I'm not asking them to build me a spacecraft to Mars!!!

'The Wheel Specialist' in Fareham near Portsmouth. They're the ones frequently displaying their beautiful wares at Goodwood Breakfast Club. Their website specifically mentions split-rims
(I have no connection to this business. Other wheel restorers are doubtless available, may be cheaper and may be nearer you))
