I posted last week about my Vizsla getting a little tired and needing help getting in the car. The wonders of PH as another member offered me his folding ramp to help the old boy in and out.

Sadly he took a turn for the worse today and rushed up the vet, pale gums and no energy. Massive bleed in his abdomen and with his spleen out through surgery a few years back, I didn't want his last moments to be while cut open on an operating table.

RIP my best boy. I've got your back.

Handsome boy, I am so very sorry for your loss frown, the right decision at a tough time, it would have been bad news, especially as he'd already had a splenectomy. Very sad day, take care

So very sorry to read this frown

As Bex says, what a handsome boy he was - a credit to you. Hopefully you have lots of happy memories of your time together.

I am sorry for your loss. But you did the right thing, which was the best for him and not for you, a brave decision.

His soul will be with you now and always.

You must feel terrible but remember the good times. There must have been lots of those. My old dog's getting very old and that makes me sad. The 'day' for him is ever drawing closer and I feel your pain. I just live each day with him as it comes and enjoy it. You'll bounce back in a while.
