Aftermarket exhaust
Discussion
I bought my 996 with an aftermarket exhaust. It sounded AMAZING, every drive was like I was in Le Mans...
.....until I got utterly sick of it and fitted a standard one in under two months. All the online replies of "be sure its what you really want" are more true than you might realise. It made me feel self conscious using the car late at night, or just doing normal driving in normal places.
The other consideration is that unless your car is new changing the exhaust can quickly become quite a large job as the fixings are nearly always shot to pieces and repairs are not necessarily quick or cheap.
