Start/stop m3 or m4 may be issues..

Any m3 or m4 owners here may be able to help me?
I test drove an m4 dct the other day and I noticed at the lights after engine cut out i can feel a slight vibration/shake on the steering wheel while i wait for the green light. Is this normal?
I've driven other cars with start/stop and all of them goes silent whenever the start/stop feature kicks in. I'm wondering if the m3/m4 is different?!

Not noticed anything like that.

I've noticed a slight pulse every few seconds on the steering wheel while in Auto Stop mode on my M6.
