I posted something earlier today for a sale I made on eBay, and upon entering the tracking number in the royal mail tracking website it says an error has occurred and I should check the number, yet it's definitely the number on the receipt I have!

Never had this occur before.... Any thoughts as to what to do?

Royal mail website is useless for getting help!

Did you send it by Special Delivery or Recorded delivery? If it was recorded you won't get any online info until it has reached it's destination.

That's not so is it? It usually says where you've posted it and that it's on the way

Mmmm not certain, I know Special gets tracked every step of the way. Maybe check again in the morning.

Yeah, Royal Mail seem to have spent about £5 on their tracking website. I can't recall how many times I've seen it say that it's experiencing high traffic volumes and so you can't use it. hehe

I remember paying money to send an important letter recorded delivery to the USA.

The plebite on the desk neglected to tell me that it can't be done....and once the package leaves UK soil it is all over.........

How the hell can RM sell a product they don't actually fkin' stock???????
