Leave booked and thinking of resigning
Discussion
^ I'm ok in that department.
I'm more worried that they would/could:
- cancel my approved leave
or
- say that the 4 wk notice period actually has to be served sitting in the office, which would mean an end date 4 weeks _after_ I come back from leave, which is 2 weeks later than I'd like.

Your holiday leave has been approved so they would look very. Petty if they tried to change it. Your contract states 4 weeks notice so 4 weeks it is not 4 weeks plus 2 weeks if you have holiday booked.
Chill out don't worry about it, take and enjoy your holiday, what are they G oing to do sack you? If they did they wouldn't have any grounds for doing so and providing you've worked there more than 2 years they'd leave themselves open to legal action.
