Zig - Cleaning product??
Discussion
Hi Ron.
If the interior is predominantly vinyl than i would whole heartedly recommend Meguiars Number 57....It does work on leather also ..
https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...
However if yours is predominantly leather than you could try their Gold class..
https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...
I have always found Meguiars products do what they say on the tin.
Howlfrauds should stock this as well...
There are a million and one products out there for cleaning leather...The "Autosmart" products are also pretty reliable...
If the seats have been connolised then i would not recommend any of these products...
Hope this helps...
Cheers

My interior is leather - not sure if its connolised though - how can you tell ???
It doesn't last so if there is any patchy bits then that may be the remainder of the dye...My interior is leather - not sure if its connolised though - how can you tell ???
If you have an even colour then its original colour.
Ideally for cleaning leather its worth doing properly..
This method will take a whole day or two depending on start time and weather conditions.
1. Hoover seats and joining trim.
2. Make up a mild shampoo solution...Warm water and baby shampoo is best.
3. Clean the leather with the water and shampoo using a towel type material..(An old clean bath towel is good cut up into smaller sections.)..DO NOT SATURATE THE LEATHER..Gentle circular motions and rinsing the cloth in the shampoo solution regularly.
4. Pat dry with clean dry towels and allow to dry naturally...This may take some hours or best done the day before the intensive cleaning & Feeding.
5. Use a good quality leather cleaner only not a conditioner included type...Clean thoroughly again with clean dry bath towels...Follow application instructions on the product.
6. Use a good feed and conditioner on the leather afterwards, Let it soak in properly before you buff it with a soft microfibre cloth.
7. Feed the leather on a regular basis to maintain the life of it.
Alternatively you can use the products advertised but if your leather is in good condition then its worth looking after it properly.
These products are quick fixes although good..I always use them on leather goods that i make so they have a good initial feed.
Hope this helps
