Has anybody seen a timetable for 2016? I'm struggling to find one.

Thanks.

I think the idea is you buy the programme online & you'll get a code to access the timetable: no doubt it'll leak out in the next couple of days.

I would guess that the programme will be disrupted on Saturday. High winds in the forecast.

Also the concerts and events on the beaches have been cancelled after being washed out last night with the spring tides and tidal surges caused by strong winds.

Isn't the Draken a new visitor this year. I would have gone just for this, but unfortunately am unable to go this year.

Friday night there will be a special one off dusk display from the Typhoon. I imagine it will be stunning to see.

Some of the other planes displaying I can recall include a Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster, Draken, Mustang, Thunderbolt and a Mig15 to name a few.

Should be one of the better years to go see it.

I've heard small stuff displaying over the last couple of days, and caught sight of a Spitfire and Hurricane over the New Forest yesterday while out on my bike. Also heard an earsplitting military jet but I was uncer a forest canopy at the time so couldn't see which one. But the BBMF Lancaster is up right now, and it literally flew right over my house turning a big loop back toward the display area at the sea front. 4 snarling Merlins right above me and no camera to hand... grrr!

I may go down there for the dusk displays, the Typhoon should be quite spectacular.

The "awesome foursome" up right now. Just watched a P-47 leading a P-51 flanked on the left by a (Buchon) Me109 and on the right by a Spitfire. Great sight as they banked right into full sun and the light picked out the polished ali of the American pair, and the yellow nose on the Buchon.

It's going on just that little bit too far away to really enjoy it from home, but I've got the binos out and I'm getting some good glimpses either side of a neighbour's tree. Now where's that bloomin' chainsaw gotten to...?

After a poor start yesterday it turned out OK. For me the Draken was the star of the show. Very loud and very un-Nordic.

Went up today. Note to self: Go on an earlier day next time, because by leaving it until the final day I missed the Jug and the Draken.

The 'Ultimate Warbirds Flights' 4-ship comprised a Mustang, Spitfire, Buchon, and the p-47 Thunderbolt, or "Jug" on the first three days, but today they seemed to have subbed in another Spitfire in place of the P-47. And the Draken was slated to display right before the Typhoon closed the show, but it didn't appear at all.

Bonus of the day was the Mig-15 pairing up with the Canadair Silver Star later in the show than it's original billing of third up. Which meant I got to see it after all, because we arrived as the Fireflies display team were doing their display.

I definitely identified Spitfire Mk.Vc EE602 (coded DV-V) up there in the 4-ship display. I believe the other one might have been ML407, the Grace Spitfire, a Mk.IX (TR.9?) (coded OU-V). Nice touch at the end of their display too, when The Blades dropped in and flew alongside the WW2 foursome, a pair on either side, and did an 8-ship display for a few minutes, complete with smoke. Not seen that before.

Before we left the house we were treated to a low pass from the BBMF Lancaster which appeared to be following Castle Lane east to west positioning for it's display.

Beginning to wish I'd snuck out on Thursday or Friday to see the show now, and maybe gone to Night Air too, but to be honest there wasn't much that was jaw-dropping on the participant list really. My son got a better view of some of the participants operating out of Hurn on Saturday because his archery club shoots near the western end of the runway.
