I am a bit biased but if you like Mercs you won't be disappointed. The 3litre diesel is a lovely smooth tourqey engine, the 7g box is sometimes a bit jerky on lower gear down changes but I think there is a software update for that.

Brilliant mile munchers, good performance, good economy for the performance, looks good, very comfortable, it has a good balance between firmness and comfort if you like to push on a bit.

My 2011 E220 has done mega miles with no issues so as long as it is serviced properly reliability shouldn't be an issue. At that sort of mileage it is not even run in yet. The sweet spot is normally around 100k when everything is bedded in and fuel economy improves.
