W211 Estate - as a tow car?
Discussion
Following on from my thread here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I'm potentially looking at replacing our 2006 A6 Avant 3.0 TDI with a W211 estate.
This will be my wife's everyday car and will also be used to tow our large twin axle caravan.
Am I right in thinking that ideally I want to go for a 2007 onwards (facelift) model?
Anything I need to know about, look out for, etc?
And am I correct in thinking they come with self levelling rear suspension as standard? I have adaptive air suspension on the A6 and wouldn't want to tow without it.
Many thanks!
