430 SE brochure/other literature?
Discussion
HHMm, I have a press pack from 85 which has some loverly Glossy Literature and pics, but alas its only of the 350i and 280i. Also have "Encyclopedia of Supercars" no 42 which alas is of the 450 SEAC.Sorry
Will happily scan if you want any of that stuff? and for anyone else if they like.
email me through my profile.

I thought they only made a few 430's (<10)
So no idea if there was a brochure.

It's worth searching ebay - may TVR brochures turn up.

They made 3.
And I made another one!
In about 1993/1994, I fitted a 4.3 engine built for me by TVR Power into my 1989 400SE (F40 OLH - is it still about?). It completely changed (and hugely improved) the character of the car. Compared to the 4.0 litre engine, where the power all came in in a lump at about 3000 revs, the 4.3 was seamless power all the way through the range.
And given the oft-expressed doubts about TVR's BHP figures, that engine came with a dyno printout showing it got to within 7bhp of its claimed output (273bhp actual, as I recall, against 280 claimed).

I'be owned this car since '98 - you probably don't remember but I spoke to you about the car just before I bought it. I've made a few changes myself - Motec, BV conversion, raised comp. Now gives 244 bhp at the wheels (say 300 corrected). See the pic. in my profile.

You're right Rev. Something like 5 or 7 - very rare, but not as rare as the 500SE.
of which they made none

I doubt very much if a brochure for this was published at all.

I have a 430SE brochure somewhere in the loft along with the Speed 8 one. Brochures come first with TVR, the cars may or may not follow.

Paul, many thanks for the reply. I'm delighted the car remains in such obviously good hands.
I moved on to a Griff 500 in which I did about 65,000 miles before trading that in in 2000 for my current Red Rose Tuscan (45,000 miles and three "seaside holidays").
