Rear Bumper Dimples
Discussion
In my on-going search for a 4.3 Vantage I've noticed a few cars with what look like small dimples on the upper side edges of the bumper where it meets the rear wing. I know there was an issue with 'wavy' bumpers around where the impact bar is located (my previous Vantage had the rear bumper replaced twice under warranty for this reason), but I haven't seen any posts about the dimples I'm seeing on some cars.
Is this the same problem as the 'wavy' bumpers (i.e. sub-standard OEM parts) or more a case of poor fitting and overtightenting of the fixings that are pulling the bumper surface in slightly and creating the dimples? If the former, then I'll just discount any cars that have this issue. If the latter, then I guess it's not a deal-breaker and something that could be fairly easily resolved with a bit of tinkering with the fixings?
