Evening all,

Is mixing front and rear struts eg Koni fronts and Bilstein rears a good or a bad idea?

I thought I'd read it all on 993 suspension, as we know it causes a fair bit of shall we say discussion, but never that one!

I'd assume it's a bad idea, but let's see what the cognoscenti have to say?!

Car will feel uncoordinated and could be dangerous when driven hard.....will be all over the place as they will react differently might be fine if you just "potter" about. Look at Carnewal site site new sts arent that expensive. If budget very tight go for 2nd hand.

Cheers,
I'll never track the car but do occasionally enjoy some spirited driving...biggrin
I'm just considering options really.
There's quite a bit of conflicting info out there when it comes to 993 suspension!

I reckon you'll be fine. I had a Pagid brake disc on one of mine, but the others were ATE. I only needed the one though so saved myself a tonne of money there not changing them all. Suckers.
