Hi All,
The leather on the front edge of the Instrument binnacle (under the front windscreen) has come unstuck, and needs repairing. I have been applying leather restorer to try and make it nice and supple. Has anyone ever removed this to enable getting it repaired?
Or is there somewhere near Newport Pagnell that could carry out this repair so I don't have to take it off?
Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.
Chris.

It is held in by four friction clips and leather strap. Grab both sides and pull it up until the friction clips release and then unscrew the leather strap which has one screw. You can then stretch the leather back and re glue it.

Should I take a deep breath as I try to do it? That sounds scary - but easy!

Its not too bad, just wiggle it upwards firmly and carefully and it will come out - the leather strap will stop you smashing it into the windscreen. I did the same repair on my DB9 and its fine.
