I looked at some Rapides previously as I have a deep hankering for one and noticed that they, particularly from this dealer, don't sit around for long.

Is there something I'm missing with this one in that it's still sitting? Seems like a nice spec apart from lack of rear DVD players...or is that it?

Cheers for any advice!

Yes I'd prefer a Vantage, but I need 4 seats and a DB9 won't cut it from either front or rear leg room.

The only real (£5k) option is the RSE and it doesn't have it - it is important for many as we generally have these cars because of kids. Maybe its all a bit grey monotone but its still very classy. No mention of FSH or warranty mind? If it has been sitting make a cheeky offer maybe - after all they call it a 'coupé' but we all know it's a 5 door family hatchback :-)

I have no idea what Hydraulic brake assist (HBA) is mind - a brake servo?! Funny to see my gushing plonked by the ad too!

It's missing the rear seat entertainment but that's no big deal (in the sense you can buy a standalone in-car did player). Mileage is reasonably high (but the car is in practice just run-in!). And of course it's the old spec 6-speed not 8. But that's all factored into the price. Make them a cheeky offer...

Also it doesn't have the cooled seats, which as everybody knows has the ability to freeze your nuts within 10" of being switched on. NOT!

In my Vanquish I noticed that wearing shorts makes a big difference to feeling the coolness from the seats. So I went one further and always drive without any trousers on. I highly recommend it Ken! wink

As for the Rapide: great colour. And seems decently priced. Offer £60k??

Cracking cars. Like a sports cars with four seats. Amazing amount of space as well as you can fold down the rear seats. Had a Rapide S as my wedding car and would always buy one over a Range Rover when I'd need a "practical" car in the future... smile

Thanks, guys. I'll know next week if I'm in a position to go for it, but given the others available across the country, then a cheeky offer it would be. I do like the colour scheme.

My little 'un would be happy with her Tablet mounted to the back of the passenger seat, but lack of RSE is another good bargaining chip.

I saved a lot buying from a non franchised dealer rather than a 'no deals' dealer and hence sorted a very long 42 month warranty cost effectively etc. Feel free to PM me for any experiences/advice to avoid me rambling here (for a change) smile

Thanks, Ken. I'll know next week if the dream can be turned into reality and will certainly PM you - either with tears, or questions! Cheers!

It was never an investment car but based on current forecourt prices for the same spec car I bought over 2 years ago she seems to have lost around £4k pa and tbh I expected double that. Now you have no excuse as new Fiestas loses 4k day 1 wink

Unfortunately not me! I have a meeting on Friday that will finalise my future domestic and car-related finances. All going well I'll be in a favourable position.

I'll also drop you that PM for some advice...

Try north of the Estuary. Them Essex gals love bare adventurers driving
