Has anybody else had or got this problem and did you find a fix?
The driver's side dash vent start's creaking when I've got the air conditioning set to auto and going over uneven surfaces.
When I switch control to fan speed and set to windscreen and down it stops.
This only happens when the weather is hot. I assume it due to the materials reacting differently when subjected to cold air.
A fix would be greatly appreciated as its very annoying.

2006 is before they fitted the screws I think - if you have some trim removers it's very easy to remove the vent, then stick some automotive tape/material tape to the exposed plastic bits and stick it back down. If you take it to the dealer their fix is to stick it down with windscreen sealant I think, which seems a bit OTT.

So it's the metal trim reacting against the plastic when subjected to cold air. Thanks Grumpydev.

The vent moulding is very poor quality plastic which warps when heated. My DB9 had been "fixed" by a dealer and the screen sealant looked dreadful. The ends of the vents still lifted when subjected to warm sunlight. Don't use Superglue, it turns white on cheap black plastic
