would a battery on a 458 be covered under warranty on a 2013 car? i thought they came with 4year warranty and a 7 year service pack.
thanks in advance

I think that will depend on your relationship with a Ferrari main dealer. They could probably use the exclusion for fair wear & tear.
I have heard of at least one battery failure on a 2014 car. I am sure part of the problem is that the supplied red Ferrari branded Ctek charger is just not up to the job of exercising and maintaining an AGM battery. You probably have a 0.8amp charger although my 2015 car was supplied with a 3.6amp. Neither have an AGM battery setting like the far better Ctek MXS 5.0 which is under £60.
You can get a Ferrari plug to Ctek adapter cable on Ebay or in the Pistonheads classifieds.
