Hi Guys

I've just been told by my supplier that the items I ordered for one of my clients "probably aren't the right thing and we can't get stock for 2 weeks"!

Basically I need to connect ST Fibre to Gigabit Ethernet.

Oh and I need to get enough to do three runs (6 devices) by friday!!!

Wadsworth are usually good..... Trade only I believe.

Bugger, SC. Just need to track down the right fibre leads.

I know some 3com switches now have "insertable" ports so that you can mix fibre and gigabit ethernet. I just have no idea where you would get these in the UK.

Cheers but they a) have to be standalone units (they are using a combination of old and new network hardware) and b) around £200 per unit
