I know this subject has been brought up millions of times on forums but which is really the best sounding setup for the 355, I currently have Capristo Level 2 muffler and Tubi Style decat pipes with standard crappy headers/ manifolds on my 2.7 motronic 355,
I also have a fancy switch under dash I can open and close bypass valve with.

Now when I'm brave enough to splash out cash on the headers I'm thinking of getting the tubi style ones with the integrated heat protection, has anybody out there got that setup ?? Tubi headers + Tubi decat pipe and Cappy level 2 ??

I was also contemplating fab speed headers with the fab speed cat bypass pipe and Y pipe to get rid of secondary cats.

I'm extremely happy with my current setup but I want the perfect setup with lots of pops and burbles and some flames to shoot out on downshifts too wink

I have no cel lights on dash ever which is nice, and car sounds epic when above 4000rpm

Personally I wouldn't go with Fabspeed or any other header that was 4-1.
That is not a comment about the company or the product, both of which I have heard lots of good things about, but rather the fact that this setup changes the sound. It gets deeper and you lose some of that lovely high pitched scream.
Also, while the 4-1 will give a little more top end power, you will lose some midrange which is actually where the 355 needs more IMO.

For these reasons I recently ignored the cost and installed Tubi headers which also have the added benefit of factory style heat shields.
I also have Hyperflow cats and Nouvalari exhaust. The sound is amazing, although some may consider it too loud.

Yes I have heard fab speed headers change the sound getting rid of the high pitch and also you lose power bottom end which is definitely what I don't want
