Smokey and the 944 bandit
Discussion
For all those out there with 944 street smarts.
I recently replaced camshaft and all the paraphernalia that goes with it.
When I first got it back it had a tendency to stall when stopping and oil pressure kept dropping. Returned it to find the cause was a clogged throttle body.
Now it doesn't do the above, however, once warmed up oil pressure sits at 2 bar and if shoved up to and passed 3000rpm it trails smoke. Not a thick plume nor blue nor on run off.
I know diagnosis is always a nightmare on the forum, but if suggestions could be bounced back and forth, or if this has happened to anyone else, feedback would be appreciated guys.
cheers
Tim
