v8 vantage windscreen washers
Discussion
Hello to all fellow owners. I've lurked for a few years but now have a need to post for help.
I have a 2006 v8 vantage with windscreen washers that don't work. There is fluid in the tank and the light washers work just fine. I realise that the windscreen and lights are washed from different systems but share (I presume ) the same tank. The 15a fuse for the windscreen pump and relay was blown but has been replaced. I'm still not getting anything other than a dry wipe though. Is there anything else I can check or replace before concluding the pump is knackered?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

There's no real shortcut to fixing this properly and efficiently.
Yo need to know whats fubar. To do this, you need to test the pump and circuit. The pump is behind the right hand wheel.
Remove the RH wheel and arch liner. The bottle and pump is right there.
Fire the washer up while checking the terminals on the pump for 12v. If no voltage, its elsewhere. If there's voltage and pump doesn't run = fubar pump.
You can clean it all out while you're in there.
If the pump doesn't have 12v, it can only be wiring or switch. I'm afraid the only action is to follow the wiring round component by component until voltage disappears and there's your faulty bit.
