slight problem with the venue guys...

the VSCC has "nicked" our loud day at Donnington this year due to their re-schedule and as Donnie can only offer us a LOUD date in October I've decided to throw it open again to the masses.

Current options are...

Oulton Park in July / Aug / Sept

Snetterton in July / Aug / Sept

or

Donnington in October!

These are available LOUD dates which means that the Tuscans, T440R, and various Race Teams, Specials and heavily Modified cars can run pretty much unrestricted (which I feel is an essential part of the day)

so over to you, what do you think?

andy

BTW this day WILL happen and our sponsorship is secure.
Shame about the Thunder event, needless to say I'll be there WHEN it happens.

October???? if its dry then super... if its wet then I want to watch
Bit risky leaving to October, thats unpredictable weather time...

Just an idea, but theres quite a few special guests coming to the Cream event, why not join up with that one? get to see the LeMans race car too... I know Elvington aint exactly a race track, but still plenty of fun and the weather will be great... plus I'll be there and see if you all can keep up with me.... (on the straights )....

cream event does look cool, great web-site.

similar thing really, but ours is open to all Tiv's and is a Trackday. All the modifiers will be there.

We have the Peninsula-TVR T400r there so we already have a Le Mans car of our own!

doubt i'd get to the Cream thing, York's too far north for me but i'm all for anyone who's promoting
TVR Track n' Field events.

as for October, i feel thats too late as well.
so I reckon Oulton / Snetts are fav.

Snetterton is V fast with plenty of run off so that may be fav as far as the event goes...but I also LOVE O/P...but is it too far north?

The cars been developed for outright dragging (wheel alignment, chassis, suspension, weight distribution etc)... should be *ok* round twisties, just no-where near as good as the track vets... I'll try my best.... although with the tuscan pedal box in there, should make H&T a little easier, but with 850lb/ft+, a little 'daunting' to say the least, I'll load up on me weetabix on the day and a dozen boxer pants...

cool. Just with it being a road legal car I am struggling to see the point in just a straight line machine. Or is it going to be competitive with the straightliners on the drag scene with sub 9 second 1/4s?

Once the sponsor list is good enough... she will be entering pro street drag racing in competition next year... this year is all about marketing and gaining sponsors, and fine tuning her... 9 secs? try sub 8 secs...

She'll start off here, SP looks promising... but there is a chance of her going over to the states too... its time we showed them how the brits do it... but more info will be available once everything starts becoming official.. at the moment its a works in progress... slooooooowwwwww.... sadly, thats how anything new and custom usually is... damn technical research and design stole a few months...
