That'd be a Diablo, surely??

IIRC

6.2 indicates a Murci
VT indicates a Diablo

2002 indicates a Murci...

Just did a lookup on the numberplate, definately a Murcielago. It's had 3 previous owners and is RHD

More info... It's a repo, Bentley Finance are the vendors. They reckon a guide price of 115k+

I'd say more like 105

Well that Murci was highlighted on here (or F Chat) last week - the one with the black bonnet.

Steve F - can put you in touch with the owner directly if you want.

I may be wrong on which cat it is, but it did spend 4 months at Lamborghini Wycombe - that I know for sure.

If you are serious about the car, mail me via profile offline... would rather not get into a bidding war!

I spent an hour researching the car today, and having spoken to Lamborghini Wycombe - they told me expressly a large insurance claim was made to cover the cost of the repair work to the substancial front left damage.

e-mail me if you want more info/contact details.

my tuppence worth....

Johny - personally I dont think that the XJ220 is THAT astonishing value. After Kensington Grange bought the remaining unsold stock (around 150 cars) they were/are selling them brand new for £150K (rather less than the 4809 they came out at). ALL XJ220 are left hookers remember, so that doesnt make any difference. Id be surprised you couldnt get a second hand one for around the 75k mark now....

wouldnt touch an italian supercar which had majorfrontal damage unless I could be absolutely 100% sure what the damage had been and precisely what it had effected. you'd never do it with a diablo cos the wiring loom is such a load of arse...frontal repairs can be hideously costly...I know that sort of thing is precisely where audis influence has had highest benefit, but id still be very wary. personally id be tempted to wait a year until undamaged used Merci values had got down to the 115K mark.....

just my opinions tohugh!

cheers
