Archive . . . page 1, 2, 3, . . .

When I check "My topics" I get:   

"Page 1    Next Page"

But what if I want to check a post from 6 months ago? Takes ages to get there / sorry, I post rather a lot. And I do have my senior moments . . .

Would be nice to have a "page 1, 2, 3, . . ."-thingy to browse quicker. And click say every 10 pages to move up. Or am I the only one who checks older posts? What's the point of the archive then . . .

On this - and similar, could this be a "goto page #" and could that faciltiy also be integrated into the fora too?

eg on long threads, Goto Page 8 etc? And on General gassing for eg goto page 267 etc etc?
