So, last week I had a king gent drive into me whilst I was on the motorbike. It was low speed with the impact being my lower leg, ankle and I think he went over my foot.

It did smart at the time but I managed to get home ok. I suspect I have bruising or fractures on one or more bones in my foot and maybe my ankle. It's been seven days and it still aches/hurts, how long do fractures take to sort out?

My fractured toes took eight weeks. That was in Jan/Feb and they can still be a bit sore. If you're not sure get an x-ray, or at least tape them together for support.

6 weeks minimum. It's worth getting them checked out in case they are out of alignment. They can heal funny and cause long term problems with mobility etc and corrective surgery becomes more complicated.

OK I'll see how it goes and get checked out next week. It isn't the toes that I suspect are fracture but possibly bones that are in the mid foot area and lower shin.
