Mrs C has just phoned from the centre of Gloucester.

Someone is throwing syringes off the top of a car park onto shoppers below.

She has phoned the police and is hiding the pram under a shop entrance as the needles come down. One of the needles only just missed the pram.

Good Grief.

If the low life attacked each other then I wouldn't mind too much, but a baby in a pram!

That's just sick - someone needs a serious kicking. Glad your other half is sensible enough to hide.

Gloucester is the key word in all this i feel. 10 miles west is the solution.

On a more serious note...
I doubt they'll be used needles. Users are unlikely to throw away needles at all let alone in such a public way.
Doesn't make it any better though. Glos police do seem to be getting their act together recently though so hopefully should be OK. You could always give the Echo a ring (probably the Citizen in glos) if they turn up and are completely crap.

I wanted to live in the Forest of Dean, but unfortunately my wife was not an immediate blood relative, so we were not allowed. So we went and lived on the Romney Marshes instead.

Doctor Foster went to Gloucester,
In a shower of needles,
He went to the shops,
Now he’s got the pox,
And never went there again.

Do these airborne syringes actually have the needles attached or is it just a cunning ruse?

The last thing I'd want to catch is a "cunning ruse".
