Beetle Tsunami raffle - a question

Ted, my Dad is raffling a VW beetle for Tsunami relief (it will be at the VW show at Sandown Park on Sunday 3rd April) - it's a 'Herbie' replica. Would it be OK to post a thread about it (tickets are going on e-bay too, when he lists them)? He has sent me some photos, which I could send you to put on such a thread, and it could be made into a sticky, if you agree. Let me know - absolutely no prolem if this is not the sort of thing I should be putting on PH; hence my asking the question before just posting in GG...

My family is originally from Sri Lanka, hence Dad organising this. I also understand that people are already given so much to this cause, and so don't want to annoy anyone by posting yet another charity announcement about it.

Ted, have finally got some text and pictures together and e-mailed to you for posting. The raffle has been popular and ticket sales end in a just over a week - but it would be great if a PHer won it after seeing the thread here!
