As above, the paintwork on our Audi (sorry!) appears to have white hand prints in several places from our kids. They appeared around a year or two ago. I've tried Autoglymns super resin polish but no better.

Any ideas on how to remove this or who to get in to do it ?

Thanks.

I have these on the Mercedes. Apparently they are from sun cream which burns into the clear lacquer and a machine polish seems the only to get rid.

Hand cream/ moisturiser does the same... see it mainly on women's cars ...makes a mess of some steering wheels too.

Yep suncream does that damage and machine polish/buffing will remove for a short period ie, a few weeks then it will come back. It seems to etch into and through the laquer and only way to sort it is repaint frown

My uncle won spot-the-ball & bought a new white Dolomite Sprint just before he got married. Aunt decided to cover the car in baby oil to make the confetti stick !! Full respray only option
