I'm after a new logo design and then an animated intro from that.
At first glance Fivver seems offer the services we're after, but having never dealt with a faceless online provider I'm not sure how easy it works.
Still building the company up at present so don't have buckets of cash to throw at this, just wondered if anyone has used them personally and had any recommendations from there?
Cheers,
Benn

I've used Fiverr before, never again, I wanted some business cards designed for a customer, I was careful about who I chose, looked at their previous work, read reviews and exchanged a couple of emails before choosing the guy. Ended up being a complete nightmare, poor communication, long wait for responses, I gave a detailed brief for the design including content but it came back looking nothing like I asked with simple spelling mistakes. it went on for weeks trying to get simple issues resolved and in the end I just told him to forget it and did it myself, I complained to Fiverr about the stty service and they refunded my money and I closed the account.

Maybe I was unlucky, but I would perhaps find a facebook group for freelance designers and post in there, I one local to me that I joined is Freelance E17, you could try there.

I've just had a thought... one of my clients does animation, they may be able to help you out - www.kingbee.co.uk ask for Martyn and mention Oliver at Event Print gave you his details.

I've had a few good experiences with Fivver however I've only used it for when I need my vision for a logo created in a particular format. Anything truly creative of any quality costs more than a Fivver.

You pay buttons, you get rubbish! The same applies to anything in life.

Had very good and a few bad experiences with them. One guy bent over backwards to do me a custom database solution and spent considerable time on it making changes to meet my requirements. I thought the $5 was a piss take for the work involved and got him to create a custom service for an agreed price which I then bought in order for him to receive a more realistic amount (you can't send money directly to them as it's against the site rules). He was over the moon and I've had him do a couple of jobs for me since.

Other service providers are less than stellar though and many will just ignore you after contacting them with your requirements.

If its a simple photoshop job that takes 10 minutes its great for occasional use. If you want anything complex expect to pull your hair out and become Liam Nesson tracking down the vendor!
