996t covered in sand

Hi there. The neighbour has had the front of their house re-roughcasted. This involved chipping the old stuff off and they very kindly told me of this and asked me to move the car. However, what I now have is a car covered in dried in sand as it was a bit windy yesterday.

I am concerned high pressure hose could cause some probs. take the car out and max it on the m9 to blow everything off :-)

Any thoughts on the best way to get the 'stuff' off?

Why not just use a hosepipe?

Jet wash. Just start a good distance away with your first run over.

Lick it off, or maybe just use a slow running hose.

hoover it or use sticky tape to lift it off

Snow foam might lift it off followed by gentle rinse with hose

Yep ... snow foam would be a good idea. Let it soak then jet wash it off. Minimise contact as much as possible until you're sure its removed.

Just hose it off. I live in the desert and this happens all the time. As long as you use plenty of water you'll be fine!

Don't jet wash the pressure may force the sand grains against the paint. Just use a normal hose to wash if off.
