After something retro.
Discussion
Not me but my uncle, he has and has had lots of classics, he currently has a Jowett Jupiter (as featured in this months Classic and Sportscar) and a Ford Pilot (as featured in this months Cheshire Life).
He had a Vauxhall Magnum from the late seventies to the early nineties and wants something similar, basically a bit retro but preferably with improved engine, brakes and suspension, something quick-ish but needs to be retro but newer than the 40s Pilot and 50s Jowett, but not too modern.
So, anyone aware of anything along these lines for sale, the best would be a Magnum with a Redtop in or similar but sure he would look at other stuff like Mantas, Asconas, Chevettes, Starlets, Toyotas and stuff like that, keeping a fairly open mind, think he is keen on it being RWD.
He isnt really after a project, i.e. doing loads of stuff himself, needs to be mostly complete and finished.
Budget wise, he said ten but I guess a bit either way.

Dolomite Sprint? Values are on the up but they're still well within that range for a lovely one.
Will mention but not sure he wants a standard model, think he wants something a bit "modernised" and uprated, must be something out there, spoke to him earlier, he has cash waiting for the right car.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
