Picked up an E92 M3.
Discussion
I needed another track day car as my Caterham is a bit extreme for the smaller tracks and it's not a car I can just jump in and drive to the track, or use when wet. So I decided I wanted another car, toss up between Cayman S, E46 M3 and E92 M3. E92 won because of the sound and it already has an expensive big brake upgrade, map, GTS gearbox map, I just need coilovers now really.
Clean.

Dirty after driving it home in the rain, staring down my E63 TT.

I went around a similar loop...E92 arrives later today. Frozen silver with Comp pack, DCT/EDC etc. The issue is I'll have to spend on brakes and seat/harness but I'm working it on the basis that if I sell I'll swop them over and recoup most of the cost. I also have done the stripped out/save weight/hard suspension and I don't want that this time. If its focused for the track it won't get used on the road.
What seats have you in yours ?

yep..they are std. With a big brake kit you will be sliding off those. A CG lock will help.
I've had welded rails in the last two cars, fixed buckets on side mounts. Looking for something middle ground for this car....folding bucket on sliding rails as long as its lower than the std seat.

CG lock is a seat belt lock that allows it to be pulled tight and locked in place
