So

Is it worth a visit? Is it a royal pain to get to as its M25ish?

Defo worth a visit for Children 3 to about 8.

Very easy to get too. Less traffic coming from M3

Then you may not be able to afford Legoland. It's eye-wateringly expensive.

Take a picnic and don't take your kids in the shops; can get away with not spending anything after entry.

My little girl turns 3 on the 23rd and we're taking here to Legoland on the 22nd. Fingers crossed it won't be stupidly busy. Heard good things about it.

I think I'm as excited as she'll be about it haha

Probably cheaper and easier to go to the original one in Denmark.

Great day out! I went for my 40th with the kids.

If you have any tesco or nectar points, you can get free entry. Also Kellogg's have just had a adult tickets free promo on.

Consider a Q-bot. They are dear but mean you can fit a lot more into the day.

I went with my wife and son in 2014.

The queues were horrendous on day one, but we stayed in the Lego hotel overnight and got to go on all the rides first thing sunday morning before the masses arrived.

It was enjoyable and I'm glad we went, but it was an expensive weekend. I've been abroad for less.

Agree with that.

We went on a 2 day ticket last month, visited Friday and Saturday and longest wait for a ride was 20 mins. Stayed later in the day (after 5pm) and the queues had gone so walked straight onto most rides. Only delays getting on rides were when people with Q-bots rocked up.

There's a deal posted on HUKD for a night in Holiday Inn Reading West and park entry for family of 4, £99.

There are often 2 for 1 type deals with Tesco points, on cornflake packets and the like. Can really cut the cost.

It's hell on earth. Crap rides and wonky, faded plastic flamingos are the images etched into my soul. It is also expensive.

I sadly had to deal with an "emergency" half an hour into our visit which required that I left the park immediately and returned to the hotel, leaving the family to enjoy the park without me.

It's not a million miles from Brooklands though, which is much more interesting. I managed our whole visit there without receiving so much as a phone call, oddly.

My sister took my nephew last Wednesday for his 8th, spent well over £200 and there were additional costs inside.
Queues on some rides were about 60-90 minutes, although she did say she had a fantastic day but would buy the Queue jumper pass next time.

My worst nightmare personally.
