I've never used snow foam, but hear lots of good things about it.

I got a bottle attachement with my pressure washer that I've used to cover my car in car shampoo. Is that good enough for snow foam?

As for a product I've seen two a reasonably low cost ones and they get reasonable review online too; Big Shiner and Pro Kleen.

Would my existing pressure washer bottle and one of these products give me reasonable results?

Cheers, Steve

Thanks for the link,

So what would the kit that came with my pressure washer do?

I feel I've done ok for years with my current washing cleaning regime, with improvements over the years. I just wanted to move up a little.

I used the foam lance that came with my Karcher and thought it was ok, until i bought a proper lance like the one above and it's 100% better

As the others have said. The dedicated snow foam lances will provide much better results than a standard shampoo bottle for a pressure washer. Also, get a decent snow foam lance like the one on the link above, the standard manufacturer ones such as Karcher are all plastic and don't last particularly well, where as the decent their party ones have brass or stainless fittings and are much better and will last longer too.

Cheers for the foamer advice.

What about the snow foam products I referred to? Big Shiner or Pro Kleen

Thanks, Steve

I use turtle wash and wax in my snowfoam lance - you can get 25L drums of it from costco for very little money and it lasts years.

I've used some pro-kleen stuff and the standard karcher lance......so based on this thread I might change it. Its ok, but I think it could be better.

It'll work, and produce foam, but may be a bit thin and run off a bit too easily, a dedicated snow foam lance will be better as it'll introduce more air and therefore produce more, thicker foam which will cling to the car better. Just see how you get on though.
