V8S Owner's - Possible Gear Gaiter fix?

I used the same gaiter to replace the broken gaiter on my V6 S. I needed to find a replacement for Wendy (350i V8 with an LT77 gearbox) and noticed that the same (obsolete) Sierra gaiter was fitted to the 350i.

Having tried an alternative I then tried the Freelander gaiter, inverted as I did in the S. Boom fits great. Thought it might also work on the V8S as the LT77 gearbox is used on that too.
