I rent and so need contents cover only, I have few assets - but those I do have are pricey...couple of carbon fiber bikes, IWC, Omega and she has a ring valued over £20k........cheap way to insure that sort of stuff? Do it individually or part of a contents policy from someone like Hiscox??

I would suggest speaking to a valuables specialist, or a broker. Standard policy from mainstream are not likely to give you the level of cover you need for that lot.

Marks and Spencers were very sensible when I had contents with them.

I had a burglary when I went Contents and Buildings after moving to a new house. Was all very civilised.

You can set quite high limits and add things on etc
