vc 25 (airforce one) at stansted 6th sept 2016?

Does anyone in the know know if one of the vc-25s was at Stansted last night? On our way back and upon landing the pilot braked extra hard and pulled off the runway shooting past a 747 with the blue stripe, I could swear it had the text as well as the seal. Obama is off in Asia, do the planes get much use from anyone else in the government?

I'm assuming our pilot scored points with his mates for taxiing in front of it!

Wasn't aware of them, awesome stuff! Are they often seen outside the US when the president isn't around?

They do travel abroad now and then - sometimes with the President or Vice-President - sometimes on other duties.

They are getting on a bit now.
