For reflooring a horse trailer?

I'm planning on simply laying new boards over the existing wooden floor and rubber matting.

Anyone done it?

Phenolic/non slip Plywood. You might not even need the matting on top.

Ebay sellers:

The only two types of flooring that should be used in horse trailer floors for durability and safety are
Phenolic Resin Scandinavian Birch
Or
Extruded Aluminium Planking
Both should have a rubber mat overlay for shock absorption and anti slip.
Aalco supply both of these at very reasonable prices.
Please note I'm not affiliated to Aalco (other suppliers are available) just have been doing this for 22 years now, and nothing else matches up to these products
