Hi all

Next Thursday I am going on a corporate event which involves a visit to a casino.
I have never set foot in one before and I'm actually looking forward to it however the person organizing it has given us all "Membership forms" to complete and bring along with us on the night.

Why?

The form is asking quite a few questions like D.O.B, address, email etc and I'm reluctant to give out such details to what I class as a glorified amusement arcade!

We've also been asked to bring I.D. too, for obvious reasons but I begrudge giving out my details for them to just "data harvest".

why would they EVER send you post? and who on earth puts email address/phone numbers on that stuff anyway? Just say "dont have email or phone" - job done.

Looks like an attempt at Due diligence to fulfil AML and associated regulations

It suits the Casino as they can profile customers etc and flag anything suspicious, or anyone that will lose them money

Many UK casinos now operate open door policies. Ignore the form and just turn up with a driving licence.
