I'm not entirely sure this is within the spirit of PH, but are any of you bidding on the Tasmin Handbook on eBay.

Just asking cos if so i wont bid against you! email me direct if you dont want to make it public.

I thought that was how the Tasmin got it's name originally - though the girl in question was called Tamsin.
Just another rumour perhaps?

At least it's better than the DVLA - my old wedge (much modified 200) was registered as a T A M I N. Even amused some of the Post Office staff every time I renewed the road tax!

Yes it's me whose already bid on the Handbook. I use the same ID for this and EBay.

I've bid for it as I'm still trying to workout what all the switches on my +2 do. The dash illumination problem I had was amusing in retrospect.

If I do win it and there's any info you need, perhaps we can sort something out.

Thanks for the consideration.

Regards

Todd

I thought you could still buy that from the TVR CC - check out the price there as ebay items sometimes go for more than the real price..

You can buy a photocopy yes, but not the "real thing" and its for a series 2 not a "Tasmin".

Seeing as i've an origninal sales brochure etc i'd like to add to the portfolio for my own benefit, but its not something i need, seeing as virtually nothing in the handbook will tie in with what is on the car since i restored it...which is why i thought I'd ask.
