Why do people...

...find a reason to complain about everything!
I realise we're British but sometimes it's beyond a joke.
Popped down to the Oktoberfest event in Cambridge and while it had a few niggles it was actually a really fun public event and made me think how infrequently these things seem to happen in the UK vs the rest of Europe. The local rags website meanwhile has people bemoaning that the music can be heard across the city up to 11PM..... So? I've been to plenty of countries in Europe where the sound of clubs and bars fills the city till 3am or later, nobody seems to care that much. I realise most people who live in the centre of Cambridge seem to do so as their houses earn more money than a bank vs actually wanting to live somewhere that for England might be considered vibrant and fun.
Another example was the missus work, they tried to organise a weekend BBQ get together between offices and people came back with (and I kid you not) lines like "I can't I do my washing on a Saturday". If you don't want to go don't, say you have plans but when people come out with excuses like this it just sounds like a whiny complaint.
Colleague has spent the morning trying to argue that an asset we're not using in a piece of software is wrong and should be fixed, great except today is deadline day and maybe just maybe we should be fixing the stuff the software actually uses!
So examples of people pointlessly moaning about unimportant rubbish please!
