I really like the swirl pot to thermostat idea, replacing the standard rubber hose with an ally "U" pipe allows a bleed point to be added at the highest point in the car's cooling system, so right where you need it.
A very sensible mod I've considered myself, it must make bleeding the cooling system much easier and ensures the complete removal of air often found trapped at that point in the regular rubber hose.
