In yet another European city today and go asked to sign a petition against drugs something or other. One of the ejits got a bit pestering to me and others. What's it all about; what they after?

Had this in Verona in July, they ask for a donation, I told him politely no, also an excuse to pickpocket you too when distracted.
Heard its mostly Romanians involved but not sure if totally accurate.
Just yet another scam to be aware of!

Yep I was in Verona. They were on the main shopping street. I was 'direct' with the scrote and he backed off. But he was pulling on shirt sleeves of what looked like pensioners. When he saw me watching his antics he gave up and moved on. There were three of them spaced about 30m apart. Seen them in several cities and assumed pickpockets but can't say I saw that.
