Sale or Return question?

Hi All
Couple of quick questions
Do dealers mark up SOR cars at a higher price than their own stock?
I am looking at two identical quite high value cars in terms of miles and year and history and one was marketed at 7k higher, is this just a chancing strategy or could the car be 7k better? They are a bit of a trip to view and I want to narrow it down to the better of the two cars as there is 3k between them.

Like for like in my experience SOR cars are usually not as nice as the dealer is reluctant to spend money unless the owner specifically gives them an open chequebook to do what is necessary, which is extremely rare.
I viewed an absolutely horrible SOR 550 at a Kent Ferrari indie a few years back, which was in stark contrast to their own prepared stock.

That is interesting. I guess for me the dealer has their own car which is identical to the one they had on SOR not long ago (a few months) and the price difference is 7k? Customer took it back and part exed elsewhere against new. So basically, same dealer same car identical year, miles and spec colour etc so I just wondered how the 7k difference came about. My irrational thinking was it must be a 7k better car as it is was the same dealer!!
