V8s fan belt 15 denier.

Out in the Tvr v8s today and the fan belt decides to snap, close to a garage so managed to get in there before it overheated, 2 Mike walk to halfords just to be told they no longer stock them. Decided to go old school and got some 15 denier tights, son was very doubtful it would work. Made it home 20 miles no problem. Need to get some replacements fan belts. Any particular make favoured by the v8 s guys?

I am currently favouring "first one I found in the right size", though conti, gates or goodyear would be my preference.

10x1125 is the standard size but I reckon 10x1113 is easier to tension with the engine in an S

• I don't really rate those 15 denier tights from Halfords. They can ladder badly halfway through a bank job.
