What speakers?
Discussion
Anyone care to offer advice RE what rear speakers to purchase for my set up?
The set up is as follows:
Audiolab 8000m x2
Audiolab 8000c
Tag McLaren CD20r
Tag McLaren T32r
Tag Mclaren AV32r
Mission 752 Freedom
Kef Q600c
I have for many a year been using Kef Little Ones, but I want something more befitting of the set up. Budget is up to £300, and I'd prefer something second hand, to get more bang for my buck. Suggestions very welcome!

Don't think you will find any thing for £300 to beat the 752s.
You would be much better off spending that money on a sub that is musical, something from BK would be ideal.
To beat the 752s you will need to spend around a grand.
Also, those Missions were pretty smooth sounding in the upper mid range, which works really well with the Tag and Audiolab gear which is pretty bright sounding.
A sub adds so much more than bass, without a sub you can never really get a proper soundstage.

There is also a 77c centre for sale at the moment as well, that would be a huge upgrade.
If you have the space of course.

Also, subs don't have to add that much more bass, just relieving your main speakers from some of the hard work makes all the difference, and also you will pick up the whole range, which can add greatly to the soundstage.
It can just make the whole system sound so much more in control and smoother.
