Speedo issues

My speedo is playing up. It doesn't register any speed until it hits about 30mph but then picks up fairly quickly and seems to be OK although I have not checked it to see if it reading correctly. This seems to be getting worse as it used to only do it from 10mph. Any ideas speedo head, pick up??

Check the sensor on the diff. Might just need a bit of a clean.

And regapping. I had to gap mine down to 6 thou' using feeler gauges to overcome the symptoms that you've described.
